Setting Up a Journal Rule

Set up a journal rule, to archive your emails.

You must create a new external email contact in order to activate the journaling rule (see Adding a New Email Contact).

  1. Navigate to Journal Rule under Policy Management in your Exchange Server console.
  2. Click on Add.
  3. Enter a Rule name.

  4. Select the email contact created in Adding a New Email Contact for the field Send Journal reports to e-mail address.
  5. Select internal as the scope.
  6. Click on New, to create the journal rule.
