Archiving allows you to archive the incoming and outgoing emails of your domains.

You can only use Archiving if you have activated Spam and Malware Protection (see Spam and Malware Protection).

Once you have activated Archiving (see Activating Archiving), all incoming and outgoing emails of your domains are archived for 10 years by default from that point on. Previous emails can also be added to the archive by means of archive import (see About the Archive Import).

You can deactivate Archiving for individual domains, groups or users or change the archiving period for them by adding exceptions (see Adding Exceptions). You can also adjust the user settings (see Adjusting the User Settings).

In addition, you can set up an audit access to give authorized people access to archived emails for a limited time (see Audit Access).
