Adjusting the User Settings

Set the permissions of the users of your domains for Archiving.

You have activated Archiving.

  1. Log in to the Control Panel with your administrative credentials.
  2. Select your domain from the scope selection.
  3. Navigate to Security Settings > Archiving.
  4. Select the tab Archiving Settings.
  5. Note:

    Emails marked as private are protected from access and cannot be read during an audit.

    If you want to allow the users of your domains to mark their emails as private (see Email Actions), activate the switch Users are allowed to mark emails as private under User settings.

  6. If you want to allow the users of your domains to manually send individual emails to the archive, activate the switch Manual archiving allowed under User settings.
