Initiating an ATP Scan Manually

Analyze emails with executable attachments (e. g., .Exe files) manually with the ATP Scan.

With the ATP Scan, you can perform an analysis on emails with executable attachments.

Note:

The ATP scan is only available for emails with executable attachments (e.g. .exe file). Furthermore, clean emails that have already been delivered can only be scanned when the products Archiving or the Continuity Service are active.

Attention:

If you have not booked Advanced Threat Protection, you can perform two ATP scans per month. You can only perform further ATP scans, if you have booked ATP.

  1. Navigate to Email Live Tracking in the Control Panel.
  2. Click on the arrow symbol right to the desired email.

    The detail view opens.

  3. Click on ATP scan to start the scan.

You have started the ATP scan for the email.

Once the ATP scan is complete, you can view the ATP report in the detail view of the email under ATP scan.
