Audit Access

You can set up an audit access for authorized persons.

You can set up an audit access (see Setting up an Audit Access) to grant authorized persons access to archived emails of your domains for a limited time. Only emails marked as private are excluded from this access (see Email Actions).

The audit is performed by two auditors according to the dual control principle. The first auditor is an authorized external person. The second auditor is a user from the Control Panel and monitors the activities of the first auditor. The audit activities are documented in an audit log (see Audit Log).

You can only set up one audit access at a time. Before setting up a new audit access, deactivate the previous audit access (see Deactivating an Audit Access).
