Filter Rules

In the Compliance Filter module, you can manage filter rules for incoming and outgoing emails.

The Compliance Filter allows you to check emails of your domain. To do so, create filter rules. You can create filter rules for incoming (see Creating a Filter Rule for Incoming Emails) and for outgoing emails (see Creating a Filter Rule for Outgoing Emails).

Select an action for each filter rule. The action is performed as soon as an email matches the filter rule. You can find an overview of the actions under Actions.

You must also select a criterion for each filter rule. The criterion determines to which emails does the filter rule apply. You can find an overview of the criteria under Criteria.

You can edit existing filter rules at a later stage (see Editing a Filter Rule). Furthermore, you can change the priorities of the filter rules (see Changing the Priority of a Filter Rule). The priority affects the order in which the filter rules of the Compliance Filter are processed. You can find more information about the order of the filter rules of the Compliance Filter under Order of Filter Rules.

If you want to suspend a filter rule for some time, deactivate it (see Deactivating a Filter Rule). You can reactivate deactivated filter rules afterward (see Activating a Filter Rule).

If you no longer need a filter rule, you can delete it (see Deleting a Filter Rule).
