About the Compliance Filter

With the Compliance Filter, you can define your own rules for filtering emails.

With the Compliance Filter, you can define your own filter rules, for example, to classify incoming emails as Clean, Spam or Threat. Furthermore, emails can be rejected, redirected through a different server or forwarded to other recipients.

CAUTION:

Incorrect filter rules have a negative impact on the email traffic and can override our services.

The Compliance Filter is not designed to rewrite addresses.

With the Compliance Filter, you can check both incoming and outgoing emails. You can define filter rules for the following criteria:

  • Header
  • Body
  • Advanced

You assign an action to each filter rule. This action is automatically applied to the emails that match the filter rule.

In order to activate and configure the Compliance Filter for a domain, Spam and Malware Protection must be activated for the domain. As a partner, you can configure the Compliance Filter for the domains you manage if the Compliance Filter is activated for at least one of the domains even if Spam and Malware Protection is not activated for the selected domain.
