Migrating to 365 Total Protection

Migrate your domains and mailboxes from Microsoft 365 to 365 Total Protection using your existing account in the Control Panel.

You have a Microsoft 365 account and use our services.

As an existing customer, you can migrate your domains and mailboxes from Microsoft 365 to 365 Total Protection yourself.

  1. Log in to the Control Panel with your administrative credentials.
  2. Select the desired domain from the scope selection.
  3. Navigate to 365 Total Protection > 365 Total Protection.
  4. Important:

    When you migrate to 365 Total Protection, all customized structures in the Control Panel and all changed service settings will be overwritten with the default settings.

    Important:

    The migration cannot be performed if you have selected POP3/IMAP as the primary environment under Spam and Malware Protection or if your users and groups in the Control Panel are synchronized with LDAP.

    Click on the 365 Total Protection version to which you want to migrate. You have the following options:
    • 365 Total Protection Business
    • 365 Total Protection Enterprise

    A warning message appears.

  5. To start the migration to 365 Total Protection, click on Confirm.

    You are redirected to a form.

  6. Enter your contact data in the form.

  7. If you wish to receive our IT Security News, activate the checkbox I would like to receive IT Security News regularly..
  8. To perform the migration, click on Migrate now.

    You are redirected to the Microsoft login page.

  9. Log in with your Microsoft 365 account.

  10. Note:

    During synchronization, only domains and mailboxes from Microsoft 365 are transferred to the Control Panel. The Microsoft settings are not modified.

    To synchronize our services with Microsoft 365, accept the requested permissions.

    The migration is performed. If the migration fails, the reason is displayed. Once the error is corrected, you can start the migration again. Once the migration has been successfully completed, the number of synchronized domains and mailboxes is displayed. The Microsoft 365 domains and mailboxes are created in the Control Panel under the customer.

You have migrated your domains and mailboxes from Microsoft 365 to 365 Total Protection Your domains and mailboxes are created in the Control Panel. From now on, you can log in to the Control Panel with your Microsoft 365 credentials and configure the services.

To take full advantage of our services, adjust the settings of the synchronized domains (see Configuration of Microsoft Services) and configure the outgoing email traffic.
